Frank Lo presents exclusively in Rome the Polymathes collection of Oddity spectacles designed in Spain and produced in Japan in a limited edition of 300 pieces using titanium, carbon, copper and acetate as materials. The collection consists of eyeglasses/sunglasses with two interchangeable clips of different shapes. The Oddity glasses contain with their two shapes a profound astronomical inspiration from two important minds such as Hypatia and Copernicus. The first geometric shape connects to the design of the astrolabe instrument to define the position of the sun, stars and planets. The second round-shaped clip is reminiscent of Copernicus' heliocentrism in which the earth and planets revolve around the sun at the center of the universe. With these prescription/sunglasses, Frank Lo is among the few stores in the world to have the "space" collection of Oddity spectacles to present to visitors.
